Curviseps tank mates
« on: August 23, 2011, 01:22:07 PM »
What would make a good school with the Curvicep?

I have not given up on the idea of neons but if I do those then they have to be ones that are already in higher ph water at the store. According to my high range Ph my Ph is a solid 7.4. If you look at my regular Ph test then it puts it at 7.8 which tops off it's scale. I am guessing reality is that it is about 7.5 to maybe 7.6. No idea what the hardness is.

I am looking for cardinals. I think those will be big enough to handle it. SO far my curviceps is doing fine with my von rio's and my cherry barbs. Actually its fine with everything in there. Finding good cardinals is proving to be a problem.

finding decent cardinals is always a bit of a problem...try aquabid....kratzer usually has some good deals on some nice fish...

i just checked.....they have a couple of auctions up...2 dozen cardinals for 25 bucks plus shipping...they also have red phantoms..

I want 5 LOL. I have nowhere to put 25. I will be going to Phoenix in the near future and will probably get some then, hopefully. The LFS keeps having them but then they  have ich. I am very close to getting those and then treating them. It's certainly an easy enough thing to cure in general.
